Common K12 Systems

  • Below is a list of common K-12 systems that are requested during Learn implementation to integrate or link to courses. We've provided a quick guide to whether or not LTI is available through the vendor.  If instructions are not available on the vendor's website, you may need to reach out for specific details and to gather secure credentials for LTI setup, if available.  

  • What is LTI?  Learning Tools Interoperability, or LTI, is a framework for integrating LMS products with learning applications. It provides an open standards alternative to proprietary extension frameworks that are vendor-specific. For districts with multiple teachers using the same tool provider, or simply to assist teachers in creating Learning Tool URLs, administrators can manage provider information for their whole system. Teachers can also manage their learning tool links individually by including provider-specified keys and configuration information when creating a URL in their course.

    Brain Pop

    Brain Pop offers LTI integration for licensed districts. Information can be found by clicking here. 

    Edpuzzle

    LTI integration is available. Information can be found by clicking here.

    Flipgrid

    There is currently no LTI integration available from Flipgrid. Teachers can post a link to the activity from their LMS class.

    Flocabulary

    Flocabulary supports basic Single-Sign-On -style LTI integrations from any Learning Management System capable of launching LTI launch links. Please note that Flocabulary does not currently support grade passback. Information can be found by clicking here.

    Google Assignments

    Illuminate

     

    Illuminate offers LTI integration. Please contact the vendor to provide the secure keys and credentials to integrate with Blackboard. Information can be found by clicking here. 

     

    Khan Academy

     

    Videos from this resource are available within YouTube. Teachers can search for Khan Academy videos from the Search YouTube feature within Learn.

     

    Mastery Connect

    Moby Max

     

    IMS Global states this tool is LTI compliant. Please reach out to your Moby Max account team to request LTI credentials for this solution.

     

    Nearpod

    NewsELA

     

    The vendor s currently working on a LTI integration that will be available at the end of August 2020. Client should reach out to their account team for NewsELA for details.  

     

    Peardeck

     

     

    There is currently no LTI integration available from Peardeck. Teachers can post a link to the activity from their LMS class. 

     

     

    Quizizz

     

    Homework mode can be accomplished by posting the link to the activity within their LMS course.

     

    Quizlet

     

     

    There is currently no LTI integration available from Quizlet. Teachers can post a link to the activity from their LMS class. 

     

    School Yourself

    Request information via the signup. Each teacher also has the ability to add the LTI launch for an individual lesson from within the course. Information can be found by clicking here.

    USA TestPrep 

    USA TestPrep offers LTI integration. Please contact the vendor to provide the secure keys and credentials to integrate with Blackboard. 

    Xtramath 

    There are no LMS integrations available for this solution. You may want to post a link within the course. Please note, students will need to login into the site.
