You can take a behind-the-scenes look at your new Blackboard MCA even before it is live in the app stores by downloading the "Bb District by Blackboard" app. This will allow you to continue to adjust and manage your content leading up to when you decide to release your app for public download in the Apple App store and Google Play.

Downloading the Preview App     

1. Navigate to the app store specific to your mobile device. 

2. Search for “Bb District”

3. Identify the app named “Bb District by Blackboard” and is listed by “Parlant Technology, Inc.” (a subsidiary of Blackboard).    

4. Once downloaded, search for the name of your organization (example: Awesome School District)

Previewing Your Content on iPhone:

The app will allow you to review the content of your app as it will appear when downloaded by a community member. If you are adding, removing, or adjusting content (feeds, custom links, button images, etc.), you will need to follow the instructions below to view the changes in real-time:

1. Select the “Settings” button
2. Select “Reset App Defaults”
3. Select “Reset"
4. Select the “Home” button on the top, left corner of the app

Previewing Your Content on Android:

The app will allow you to review the content of your app as it will appear when downloaded by a community member. If you are adding, removing, or adjusting content (feeds, custom links, button images, etc.), you will need to follow the instructions below to view the changes in real-time:

1. Select the “Settings” button
2. Select “Manage App”
3. Select “Clear Data”
4. Then search for the district in the search field

Note - Your changes should be reflected; however, you may need to re-select the schools for which you are subscribed.
