    I have degrees in Teaching, Business and Technical Writing. I began my career as a Language & Speech Specialist in a K-12 district. I manage a unique team including Instructional Designers, Technical Writers and a Web Properties Manager. I am passionate about my many cats, crazy hats and volunteering at Centre County PAWS and the local chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

    I received a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from Bloomsburg University and my undergraduate Secondary Education degree from Lock Haven University. At Blackboard, I am responsible for the rapid design and development of help videos for WCM. I am also responsible for establishing and maintaining all tutorial style guidelines and templates. I started my career as a middle school Social Studies teacher, but after 5 years I moved into the corporate world as an Instructional Designer/Developer. Since then I’ve also been a trainer, a youth training coordinator, a web designer/developer, and graphic designer. In my spare time, I unwind by playing bass guitar in a 90's cover band and kayaking as much as possible.

I have over 30 years of advertising, marketing and public relations experience and am currently working on my Masters in Instructional Design. Prior to the Blackboard acquisition I was an Instructional Developer for Schoolwires. I invest my enthusiasm in my seven furry babies and renovating my home.

After spending over 20 years working for the Federal Government and various companies within the DC area, I returned to Happy Valley. Prior to the Blackboard acquisition, I worked in Quality Assurance and Support arenas and now I am part of Self Service Assets providing top-notch user help materials. I have summer fun cruising with the top down, attending concerts and trips to urban areas.

I joined Schoolwires as an Intern, then accepted a position the Technical Support Coordinator. After 3 years with our Support Team, I joined our Self Service Assets team. I enjoy going to concerts and anything crafty.

    I have a BS degree in Computer Science from the NY Institute of Technology. During my 13 plus years with the company, I have held several different positions. I am currently responsible for the technical management and maintenance of Community Engagement Resource Center. I also manage user accounts, build forms & suveys, setup and configure search & analytics, develop software for the Self-Service team and provide the team with any necessary technical assistance when publishing content. I also happen to be a Formula One open-wheel racing fan and a movie buff.
